Karnataka Marwari Youth Federation (KMYF) established in 1981 is actively involved in carrying out community service activities. Some of the on going projects are:
- Artificial limb center providing free limbs since 1981. Till date it has provided free limbs and calipers to over 48,000 challenged people.
- Osteo Prosthesis project since 2002 has provided non surgical Solution for knee pain to more than 13,000 People by providing knee braces
- Dialysis Project since 2005 has provided financial assistance for Dialysis to more than 8,500 Persons and total number of dialysis provided till date are 47,000
- Dental Mobile Centre has since 2008 screen over 38,000 and provided free treatment to more than 26,000 Persons.
The KMYF has now embarked on a ambitious project of setting up a Hemodialysis Centre. This was possible because of the generous donation of land and centrally Air Conditioned building at Jayanagar, Bangalore by Sri D. R.Ranka and spontaneous donation from 30 families to house 30 computerized dialysis machines. This center will provide dialysis to the poor people at a nominal cost of Rs 400/- per Dialysis. The project will at any time provide dialysis to over 200 people and carry out over 25,000 dialysis each year.
